In our park there is a fullface - full face helmet mandatory. Without such a helmet riding in the Bikepark Winterberg is not allowed. Since we are on black tracks, full body protection must be worn! That is, in addition to the full-face helmet, knee or knee-shin protectors as well as chest and back protector are mandatory. However, it is certainly recommended to wear a protector jacket.

If you do not have your own protective equipment, you can reserve it either together with a biker reservation or in the further booking process of the course, for your course day.

Rain or cold are usually no reason for us to cancel the Bikepark Expert course. Should the weather bring snow or storm and therefore a danger for you, we decide spontaneously and depending on the weather whether the Bikepark Expert course can take place. If we have to cancel the course, the participants will receive a voucher and can flexibly look for a new date.

Yes, for children under 14 we offer our children's beginner and advanced courses. From 15 years, the courses are intended for teenagers and adults.
Courses that parents and children under 14 want to do together can of course also be done in a private course with us.

The pedals on which you feel most comfortable are best suited. If you ride platform pedals, make sure you have enough grip on the pedals. If you feel more comfortable on clipless pedals, that's fine too. However, you will learn a cleaner technique on platform pedals.

If you are new to mountain biking, you can participate in your sports clothes without any problems. It is important that the clothing is not too wide, but also not necessarily skin tight cut. Should you already own mountain bike clothing, you certainly know best in what you feel comfortable! 😉

In our hostel not far from the bike park we have a place to stay with bikewash and within 2min from the bike park.
